GOLF – LYNX RIDGE – CALGARY
Lynx Ridge, the first course I played in Calgary, has a very interesting layout, The par three 8th hole was 185 yards from the white elevated tee box and you had to carry the pond in front of the green. The day I played the greens were fast, because they were having the Alberta ladies championships. On hole 8, I used a 5 iron to get 8 feet from the right side pin placement, that left me a straight downhill putt. I left the ball on the edge of the cup missing my birdie.
