On the way to Shediac, in New Brunswick, we explored the longest covered bridge in the world in Heartland, New Brunswick.
We arrived in Shediac on the evening of the 5th annual Lobster Festival. At 5 p.m. a 1,000 person table was to be set down the middle of Main Street. Hungry folks from miles around would be in attendance.
We were only staying overnight, didn’t know about the festival and hadn’t bought tickets. We walked the length of the table envious of the guests.
