I’m sorry to admit I don’t get Shakespeare. I had to read his works in high school and college. I liked the movie adaptations better. His written word is hard for me to understand. Perhaps I just wasn’t interested in spending the time to understand. I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to visit Stratford upon Avon in the hopes of being there would get me in the groove. The Walled City of Chester and Faulty Towers
We arrive at our hotel on the outskirts of Chester The small black and white sign to the right of the glass door instructs us to push the black button to ring the bell. We look through the glass and see an empty hotel lobby. The interior is decorated like an Englishman’s study with a darkly stained and heavily carved oak reception desk.
