Annapolis Royal, Grand Pre, Wolfville and Kingston in the Annapolis Valley is about 90 minutes away. The highways are consistent with rural communities….look out for big pot holes! This is the new wine region for Nova Scotia….and they are quite good.
Today, we explored Annapolis Royal, wandered through the Farmers Market (bought Blueberry White Lighting and a handmade beech serving paddle that barely will fit into the luggage), walked the grounds of Fort Anne NHS (the mote now an amazing grassy surround) and toured the galleries.
